Lessons Learnt 01 - Acquisitions

Tribute to J. Krishnamurti

Living is not equal to acquiring.

We tend to acquire and cherish experiences. We replay happy moments. We inevitably recount mistakes and miseries that lead to self-pity.

A person can lose his mind by contemplating on how he or she could have done better or avoided doing a certain things in the past (regrets).

These imply that we not only carry a bag that is getting heavier by the minute but we also stop everyday to rummage through this bag of garbage.

If we are looking for a deeper meaning in life, rest assured, we will not find that meaning in our garbage bag of thoughts, knowledge and past experiences.
